Inspiration Friday Blue and Gold!

Hi Amanda here again with another Inspirational Friday For Team La- La Land Crafts.
I hope your all doing well. Today our theme is Blue and Gold. It was a little harder then I thought but here is what I did.
I took Alcohol inks colors Aqua, Pool, and Patina and added Gold Mixative for fun.
Then where the ink was a little tacky yet I took Gold Foil and ran it through my lamina-tor to get it to sick.

I have not seen anyone try this before and stumbled onto it by accident. It is a lot of fun!

Inspirational Friday

Hi all Amanda here again with a Clean and Simple card for today's post with La- La Land Crafts.

I used the Kit Jaws Because from La- La Land Crafts.

La- La Land Crafts Product used:

Other Products used:
Colors
  1.  #090
  2. #091
  3. #069

Ok So first I took my Peacock Feather distress ink  spritzed it with water, and Inked up my water color paper and did the smooching technique. Just apply paper to the wet ink and then heat set it with your heat gun.
I then cut out my tag and set it aside,
I used my Stamping Plat Form and stamped out the cute little Whale from La La Land Crafts with Ranger Archival Ink in Jet Black. I love this ink its the brand I use when I watercolor.

Taking my Zig markers I out line the whale and then use my waterbrush  to work the ink around leaving some areas a little darker.  I then cut out of white cardstock I used the Pierced scalloped die. Then with my watercolor paper just like for the tag I smooched it in my Peacock feathers ink.
I put the whale on foam tape along with the tag to make them stand out. I added the little cotton ribbon to the top of the tag and then adhered it all down.

I cut the flag die out of black cardstock and then with VersaMark ink I heat embosssed it with White embossing powder, added a few sequins and that was it! Clean and simple!

Inspiration Friday

Hi and welcome to my blog. Today I am going to be sharing with you this fun card I made with La- La Land Crafts stamp Steampunk Molli

Products used:

Copic Markers Used:
Face- E33, E11,YR00, E00,YR000
Cheeks- R20, R11
Hair-E44,E29,E47
Hat and Shirt- YG95, G99 , V04,V06,V09
Eyes- YG03
Gogles and Gloves- E35,E15,E37, C5,C3

I first picked out my pattern paper from Prima marketing Lavender
I loved the purples and grays so I went with that. I cut out the square with my Fiskars paper trimmer inked up the edges with Distress ink Oxide Vintage photo,
matted it with the gray paper from paperstudio. I added lace to that I also died in the dusty concord distress ink.  I stitched around it with my sewing machine, I thought it added a nice touch to the steampunk theme.

I added the Mandala doily that I inked up with Dusty Concord Distress ink and Distress Oxide Vintage Photo ink and the Nested Frames small die that I also Distress oxide inked up with vintage photo.
Fussy cut out Molli and glued her to the postage stamp die that I cut out in black paper from Paper studio.
The sentiment is the Nested small die and it is inked up with my favorite Memento Tuxedo Black ink
and then inked up the edges with Distress Oxide Vintage Photo ink. I added just a few sequins for a party look, and there you go!
The Happy New Year and thanks for stopping. If you would be so kind as to leave me an encouraging comment and subscribe to my YouTube Channel The Little Pink Caboose, for more crafty videos!

For this card I made a video that you can catch right her!

December La- La Land Crafts 18 Days of Christmas!

HI all Amanda here for day 17! Only a few days left of this Christmas season and it has me all sentimental. Growing up my Grandma would give each of us grandkids a gift, a toy or one year she gave us all afghans. That took a lot of time for 8 grandkids! We loved all the things Grandma and Grandpa would get us, but for me there was always the 1 thing I would wait anxiously for… The revealing of our Christmas ornament. Every year my Grandma would spend time searching for just the right Christmas ornament for each of her Grandkids. No one got the same surprisingly! It was such a fun time for me to get one each year, and now that I am grown and have my own family I have all of my Christmas ornaments from them on our tree. It brings back such happy memories, that when my kids were born I started the same tradition for them, so they will have a tree full of Christmas ornaments from each year. Ok now onto the card… I thought I would create a Christmas ornament shaker card in honor of my Grandma's Christmas gifts.

La-La Land Crafts Products used:

Dear Santa

Copic markers used:

● Coat- R27,R37
● Shoes- C5,C7,C9
● Chimney- E35, E15, E37

I cut the stitched circle die 3 times out of white, gray cardstock and acetate. Then I used the smaller die on the white cardstock to create a window. I took the acetate circle and glued it to the white frame to create the window.

After I colored up the Santa and the chimney, I splattered some white paint to create a snow effect. I used some star shaped glitter for the shaker and placed the circle window on my 3D foam dots, so the shaker can shake.

I used the snow cap from the top of the chimney for the top of my ornament shaker.

I hand cut the banner out of craft cardstock, and then I used that paper pack little merry christmas and cut with my rectangles scalloped die for the backdrop of my card.

Well that’s my card project for today. I hope you enjoyed and have a very Merry Christmas!

December La- La Land Crafts Club Kit

Hi Amanda here again with some inspiration From La- La Land Crafts new December Kit release.

This month it's about fighting back! I have lost  a few family members to Cancer, and as we speak I have a few friends fighting this disease I want to be clear this Kit doesn't have to be about cancer, you can make it about getting well but for me I needed to send out some cards of encouragement that are fighting this battle! I think this little Marci girl will bring a smile to anyone who receives her.

She is so easy to color up! I went with Pink for Breast Cancer awareness. I colored her using Copic Markers.

Other Products used are:
I cute out the center of the ribbon die to make the ribbon for Cancer.

I placed the Fight Die right over Marcie and then popped them up with foam dots to make the 3D.
I placed a few star glitter shapes around the card to give it some shimmer!

For my next card I used the 2 Pandas, aren't they just the cutest! These pandas can be used for so many different things!

Copic markers used are:
  • 100, C9, C7, W1
